Meet The Team
Kayla DeYoung
Owner/ Level 5 Stylist
Kayla is a Panora Native. Throughout high school she enjoyed styling hair for dances and cheerleading for the whole squad. After high school she attended DMACC where she graduated with an Associate's degree, she continued her education at the Aveda Institute of Des Moines. There she found a love for blonding hair and her love for special event styling continued. After graduation in 2017 she spent time in a few other salons where she grew a love for cutting hair as well. Her favorite seasons are Summer and fall, when she can spend the most time with her husband and 3 kids camping, kayaking, and adventuring new places.
Makayla McKenzie
Level 3 Stylist
Makayla is a Norwalk native. Her love for hair began in high school. She attended the Aveda Institute of Des Moines where she obtained her Cosmetology license in 2022. She specializes in blonding services. Her favorite season is spooky season, every fall she goes to Disney with her family.
Lilly Thomas
Level 1 Stylist
Lilly is from Des Moines, Iowa, she graduated from the Aveda Institue the summer of 2025. She specializes in blonding and Full Glam Makeup. She loves the beauty industry because she is able to make each person feel beautiful inside and out. In her free time, you could find her outdoors playing volleyball or Sitting by a fire with her boyfriend.

Our Mission at Sincerely Saige Salon is to make every person that walks through that door feel refreshed and confident.
After Years in the beauty industry, learning new things, experiencing the nature of other salons. Sincerely Saige was born from the desire to make all guests feel they are getting quality care and at a space that has a nice comforting home feel.
